12 inches (maybe more) of snow has fallen over the last week or so. Why do i share this? It is the exact scenery that is just beyond the screen of this laptop and has left me in a place of reflection over those last few weeks.
Last night after leaving our Student ministry gathering, Edge, i was thinking back through the night at how everything went and i decided to start blogging on leadership principles that i learn as i go..
#1 …. i suck without you
If we head out into life’s adventures along, i believe that we would deminish our effectiveness and strength in tramendous ways. I know, your instant thoughts are that i am not incredibly insightful and full of wisdom (sarcastically delievered), but even though this thought is somewhat obvious, many of us go at it alone.
Over the last few weeks, the thought has become aparently clear to me, a leader is only as good as the people he/she surrounded by. Think of any great leader through modern times and even leader through out history, each has a great group of people around them, and many of them are quietly walking alongside.
I will attempt to expound on this idea later, but for now, back to dad time with the kiddos!
