40 Days… Reinventing Lent Guys Group
The next six Thursdays will take us on an adventure through the 40 Days Reinventing Lent. As men, we are charged with the direction to be the leaders of the home and that doesn’t just mean “bringing home the bacon”, but also leading our homes spiritually.
Lent is a normally a litergical time frame that leads up to easter as a time to give up something to focus in on your relationship with God. As men, we need to be in the forefront of spiritual leadership at home, at work, at church, at the baseball diamond, etc.. but that doesn’t mean becoming a weak, cowardly guy.. but rather a warrior.. i don’t think of a 90 lbs guy carrying the 50lb bible, but rather William Wallace.
